Mayor to present ‘eco-metropolis’ ambition

Planning and design: start with the landscape
The landscape should be seen as the ‘base layer’ against which decisions about all future development need to be made. That will be the major theme of ‘Seeing the Bigger Picture’ an international symposium on new approaches to masterplanning, to be hosted by MADE and Birmingham City University in Birmingham on the 7th April 2009.
